Mr. Sariyannidis is a chartered engineer of Marine Engineering and Naval Architect discipline. He earned his academic degrees in Glasgow and Sunderland, U.K. and served a full five year apprenticeship on the banks of Clyde and Tyne at a time when the international shipbuilding industry was concentrated in these areas.
During his lengthy career, he served as a seagoing engineer and he held leading positions in Ship Management Companies, Shipyards and for over 34 years with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) from where he retired as Vice President of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, in 1993 and was awarded with a “commendation for notable service”. In 1994 he founded “CS & Associates Ltd.” and since then he is the President and C.E.O of the company.
Mr. Sariyannidis is a fellow/member of various International Technical Institutions such as IMAREST, SNAME etc., a founder and past President of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology (ELINT), member of the Hellenic Marine Technical Consultants Association and a past President of the Piraeus Marine Club.
